About Us
Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The YMCA of the Triangle is committed to being a multicultural, anti-racist and inclusive organization, fully leveraging our collective resources and impact to address social inequities. We know we are stronger when our doors are open to all. Our goal is to bring together a passionate, experienced and diverse group of staff to effectively nurture the potential of children, support our neighbors and improve the community's health and well-being.
Who we are
For 165 years, the YMCA of the Triangle has strengthened the foundations of our community by serving people from all walks of life with our memberships and programs. Together, we work to ensure that we create opportunity for everyone — regardless of ability, age, cultural background, ethnicity, gender, ideology, income, national origin, race or sexual orientation — to reach their full potential with dignity at the Y.
The YMCA of the Triangle is a 501(c)3 nonprofit governed by a local board of volunteer directors.
